Right-sized systems, not oversized ones

The most common HVAC mistake on the Gulf Coast is an oversized unit. A system that is too large cools the air fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull humidity out — so the house feels clammy at 72 degrees, and the duct and wall cavities stay damp. We size systems to the actual load of the building: square footage, orientation, glazing, insulation and duct condition. The result is a lower monthly bill and a house that actually feels dry.

What we do

• New system installation — high-efficiency split systems, packaged units, and mini-split systems for additions, garages and camps.
• Replacement of failed or end-of-life equipment, including duct evaluation and repair rather than reusing bad duct.

One team with the construction crew

Because we are also the general contractor and the electrician, HVAC decisions get made with the rest of the building in view — attic insulation, return sizing, chase framing, circuit capacity and condensate routing. On renovations that avoids the usual outcome, where a good system is installed into ductwork and framing that cannot support it.
